Come Out 09 is proud to commission Saltbush a new work by the internationally acclaimed Italian company, Compagnia TPO in collaboration with Australian Aboriginal artists.

Saltbush poetically explores our shared relationship to the Australian natural landscape and the stories which emerge from a diverse people.

Saltbush is created specifically for ages 4 to 8, and performed on a touch-sensitive carpet that triggers images and sound, creating a virtual landscape for performers. Audience members are invited to play, explore and dance with the performers, each other and the carpet as the landscape unfolds around them.
